First Conditional

First Conditional

Use this interactive board game to practice first conditional sentence formation.

How to play

Students take turns rolling the dice and moving their piece along the board. When a student lands on a square they need to complete the first conditional sentence in the square. For example, we will go when and the student would say “we will go when/if the bell rings” The other players need to listen and decide if the answer is grammatically correct or not. If the answer is correct the student stays on that square. If it is not correct they go back to their previous square. The first student to reach the finish square is the winner of the game.
