Classroom Meme Generator

Classroom Meme Generator

The Classroom Meme generator is a simple tool for teachers and students to create Memes that can be used in the classroom. For example I used this meme to help my students remember wish + past simple.

How to use memes in the classroom

  1. Use memes to help students remember grammar points.

Memes can be a great way to remember grammar as they are memorable. The example below is an example of a meme I created to help my students remember WISH + Past simple for present regrets.

Meme Wish + Past simple I wish I hadn't drank so much coffee

2. Use memes as labels

Memes are great for getting your student’s attention.

Don't forget to put your pencil back meme3.

3. Use memes to teach vocabulary.

Like grammar, images can help students remember how a word is used. Picture superiority effect refers to the phenomenon in which pictures and images are more likely to be remembered than are words. There are many theories that suggest that learning with the aid of images helps memory and so can help students remember things they have learned in class better.
